With so many high-end labels at their fingertips such as Ferragamo, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Prada, and more, Italian women have elevated fashion to a new level, almost to an international art form that women all over the world aspire to duplicate. There are several looks I love here... The torn jeans worn with the crisp white shirt 1:25, the long polka dot dress 3:09, the pleated skirt paired with the metallic gray sweater 3:47. Italians take great pride in the way they look. Even if just going out for grocery shopping, they will dress smartly. It all seems so immaculately beautiful. Minimalism isn't for Italians. I find the Italian women to be more fashion conscious than their French counterparts. I see lot of ladies (and men 1:37) wearing designer clothing, designer sunglasses, designer accessories. In addition, I find that they care more about the total-look, with a perfect make up and hairdo. The lady at 4:44 is a perfect example. Great hairdo, make up, perfect accessories....With all of the end of summer sales going on right now, Italian ladies are buying great summer pieces that can be snatched up for a steal and that can also be worn as transitional weather clothing until mid November. It's so easy to transform almost all these outfits here into fall fashion. For example, turn your summer dress into a temporary skirt by layering a fashionable sweater over top. The extra layer up top keeps you warmer during those cool days or wear a long cardigan with fringes over your dress for a bohemian vibe. Pair it with your ankle boots or knee-high boots for a cozy look. Accessories are also a great way to add warmth to your summer pieces. Men and women can both add wool hats, cashmere scarves and leather boots to update warm weather outfits for fall. Enjoy and have a beautiful weekend!
